  • Not Word. Formatting lives in the Markdown, not a proprietary blob.
  • Not VS Code-for-Markdown. No project tree, no extensions marketplace, no IDE chrome.
  • Not an Obsidian vault. One file at a time — no note graph, no wiki links required.
  • Not an AI writing assistant. v1 has zero AI features inside the app.
